5-Hit Blitz by Florida's Stevens Monday, August 18th , 2031 Florida center fielder Dave Stevens had a day to remember today, 5-for-5 against the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets at Alfred A. McKethan Stadium as the Gators picked up a 14-7 victory. "He was patient up there today," Florida skipper Gustavo Valdéz told the press after the game. "I like the way he waited for his pitch and wasn't overly aggressive. Stevens has a tendency to chase bad balls sometimes." Dave Stevens singled in the 1st, singled in the 2nd, hit an RBI single in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, walked in the 6th and singled in the 7th.
