Northern Colorado Loses Enrique Castro for Season Wednesday, August 6th , 2031 The season is ending on a bad note for Enrique Castro, reliever for the Northern Colorado Bears. It was announced today that he will miss the rest of the season because of injury. Castro was hurt against the San Francisco Dons while throwing a pitch. He suffered a ruptured disc and will be out for at least 9 months. This season Castro has made 31 relief appearances, recorded 1 save and compiled a 7-5 won-lost mark and a 3.25 ERA. In pitching 55.1 innings, he has totaled 49 strikeouts and 28 walks. |
