Jacobse's Season Could be Over Saturday, July 26th , 2031 Randy Jacobse of the Owls just might have to call it quits for the season. The 19-year-old Florida Atlantic reliever received a possible season-ending injury against the Stony Brook Seawolves recently at FAU Baseball Stadium. Jacobse suffered a partially torn ulnar collateral ligament while throwing a pitch. The Owls medical staff said he could be out quite some time, as much as 8 months. Jacobse has gone to the hill for 12 relief appearances this season, nailing down 1 save while notching a 2-3 record with a 2.72 ERA. The Florida Atlantic reliever has limited opposing batters to a .230 batting average. |
