Vaqueros End Gracía's Streak Sunday, July 20th , 2031 Mario Gracía's sizzling hitting streak was snapped at 21 games today as the UC Irvine Anteaters dropped their contest with the UTRGV Vaqueros 14-1 at UTRGV Baseball Stadium. Gracía failed to get a hit, finishing 0-for-1. After the game Gracía spoke with BNN and called his effort "quite a streak." "I just ran into some good pitching today," he said. Thus far this season Gracía has hit .347 with 5 home runs, 37 RBIs and scored 43 times. |
