Hill on Fire: Burns Bradley with 3 HR Tuesday, July 15th , 2031 It was a good day for the Cal State Fullerton Titans and an exceptional one for Trevor Hill. The 18-year-old second baseman sent three bombs out of the park to help the Titans beat the Bradley Braves 10-3 at Dozer Park. "When you're in the zone, the game really slows down," Hill said when asked about his performance later. "I couldn't even tell you what pitches were thrown. Today feels great, but it is a long season and tomorrow is another day." For the day, he scored 3 times, drove in 5 runs and smacked 3 hits in 3 at-bats. Trevor Hill walked in the 2nd, hit a solo-shot off Bum-kyoo Yi in the 5th, hit a two-run home run off Bum-kyoo Yi in the 6th, walked in the 8th and hit a two-run home run off Éric Blondeau in the 9th. Thus far this year Hill has hit .251 with 5 home runs and 24 RBIs. |
