Hit Streak Now at 20 for Farrell Sunday, July 13th , 2031 The hot bat of Cowboys right fielder Jon Farrell continues to churn out hit after hit, game after game. His consecutive-game hitting streak now numbers 20 games after he went 1-for-4 in today's 14-6 loss to the Salukis at Cowboy Diamond. "I'm trying not to think about it much," he said later. "I don't want to mess with whatever zone I'm in." Jon Farrell doubled in the 1st, grounded out in the 3rd, flied out in the 5th and grounded out in the 7th. This year Farrell is batting .379 with 9 home runs. He has scored 29 runs and driven in 28. |
