Un-four-gettable: Ryan Hits for Cycle Sunday, June 15th , 2031 Nicholls State Colonels right fielder Rich Ryan hit for the cycle today, but his club still went home with their heads hung low. The Colonels were upended 8-5 by the Indiana State Sycamores, despite the big 4-for-4 day from Ryan "It was a good game for me," Ryan said later. "I wish it could have been a good game for all of us." The Colonels right fielder sparked the offense with a truly special performance, hitting 1 single, 1 double, 1 triple and 1 home run to add his name to the record books. Ryan also finished with 2 runs scored and 3 RBI. Rich Ryan hit a solo-shot off Luis Aragone in the 3rd, hit a two-run triple in the 4th, doubled in the 6th and singled in the 8th.
