Auburn's Stephens Will Miss Season Monday, May 21st , 2029 Wynn Stephens of the Tigers just might have to call it quits for the season. The 19-year-old Auburn reliever received a possible season-ending injury against the LSU Tigers recently at Alex Box Stadium/Skip Bertman Field. Stephens suffered a torn flexor tendon in his elbow while throwing a pitch. The Tigers medical staff said he could be out quite some time, as much as 12-13 months. This season Stephens has made 6 relief appearances, recorded 1 save and compiled a 1-0 won-lost mark and a 9.45 ERA. In pitching 13.1 innings, he has totaled 10 strikeouts and 9 walks. |
