Bears Ron Rivera Down and Out for Year Thursday, May 22nd , 2031 The season is apparently over for Ron Rivera. The Northern Colorado Bears medical staff informed the club that the reliever will be out at least 12 months with a damaged elbow ligament. Rivera was hurt in the game against Seattle while throwing a pitch. The doctors did not think he would recover prior to the end of the season. So far this season, in 5 relief appearances Rivera has compiled an ERA of 6.75. He has pitched 8 innings, struck out 8, walked 1 and registered no saves. |
