Castillo Wins BL Honor Monday, July 30th , 2029 So far in his young career, Esteban Castillo has kept a low profile, but after his performance at the plate last week, he attracted the notice of the rest of the Boze League in a big way as he was named the Player of the Week today for his efforts. The 17-year-old Boise Potatoes first baseman hit at a torrid .538 clip as he collected 14 hits in 26 at-bats, 1 home run, 6 RBIs and 5 runs scored. Castillo is batting at a .372 pace this season, picking up 48 hits in 129 at-bats with 5 home runs, 20 RBIs and 18 runs scored. |
