A battle-tested Mike Lansing declared war on opposing pitchers last week, attacking the ball like the well-schooled veteran he is. Today the 36-year-old Oklahoma second baseman collected the Pacific Coast League Player of the Week Award.

He wrapped up the week with a .520 average, 13 hits in 25 at-bats, 2 home runs, 6 RBIs and 6 runs scored.

This year, Lansing has collected a .280 batting average to date with 74 hits in 264 at-bats, 43 RBIs, 11 home runs and scored 35 times. He has played in 69 games.
