Ethier Whacks 3 Out of the Park for Portland

Fans seated in the bleacher section at PEG Park were taking cover all day long as Andre Ethier zeroed in on them, rattling three long blasts off the seats in a display of Herculean power.
The big game from the Portland center fielder helped the Beavers take the victory, 11-3, over the Oklahoma RedHawks.
"I told myself not to press on the last one," he told reporters in the postgame press conference. "I knew I couldn't force it -- it has to be a nice easy swing."
For the game, he collected 3 hits in 5 at-bats, drove in 4 and scored 3 runs.
Andre Ethier grounded out in the 1st, hit a solo-shot off Miguel Aguero in the 2nd, hit a two-run home run off Darren Truty in the 3rd, flied out in the 5th and hit a solo-shot off Tom Graham in the 8th.
Currently Ethier is batting .272 with 69 hits and 15 home runs. He has knocked in 43 runs and scored 41 times.
