Mench Earns PCL Player of the Week Monday, May 24th , 2004 Speak softly and carry a big stick and you could win the Pacific Coast League Player of the Week Award just like Kevin Mench. He really dazzled on the diamond this week with a .360 average to take home the trophy. The Oklahoma left fielder went 9-for-25, drove in 7 runs, scored 6 times and hit 5 home runs. So far this season, Mench is batting .316 with 19 home runs. |
