Kim on Fire: 5-for-5 for Augusta Saturday, July 10th , 2032 After a 5-hit effort to lead Augusta's 8-6 victory over the Las Vegas Craps Dealers, right fielder Seung-mo Kim told BNN beat writers it had been "a special day." "It really doesn't matter whether it's sandlot ball, high school or college, two hits in a game is nice," he said. "Three or four is better, but five or more is out of sight. And to do that at the VBL Triple A-level is really something special." The 22-year-old player earned his accolades today at Staples Center with a spectacular 5-for-5 game against the Craps Dealers. "His swing is getting there," said Minutemen skipper Norm Jordan, who spoke glowingly of Kim after the game. "We want him to be quick with his swing, short and compact. We want him to be patient and go the other way when he can. Seung-mo did that to perfection today." Seung-mo Kim hit a two-run home run off Tasuku Inagaki in the 1st, doubled in the 3rd, hit a two-run double in the 5th, hit a two-run double in the 6th and singled in the 8th.
