Ramírez Keeps Hit Streak Alive

José Ramírez has been on a tear for several weeks, and his hitting streak just keeps getting longer. The 22-year-old Weequahic Seabees left fielder extended his streak today to 25 games, going 1-for-4 as Weequahic got the best of the Newtown Juicers at Jackie Robinson Park, 3-2.

"José has been playing real well lately and we're proud of him," Seabees manager Charlie Frohwirth said.
José Ramírez flied out in the 1st, flied out in the 3rd, grounded out in the 5th and hit an RBI single in the 7th.

This season Ramírez has hit at a .403 clip and produced 33 RBI, 6 home runs and 30 runs.
