Bell Wins ML Player of the Week Honors Monday, May 17th , 2032 The hottest bat of the week belonged to Juneau left fielder Adam Bell. He went on a rampage last week against ML hurlers and rapped out 11 hits in 17 at-bats for a .647 average while hitting 4 home runs, driving in 6 runs and scoring 6 runs -- numbers quite worthy of the Martinez League Player of the Week trophy. Bell was honored today at a press conference. This season Bell is hitting .320 with 40 hits, 9 home runs, 23 RBIs, scored 18 runs and played in 35 games. |
