Consecutive-Game Hit Streak Continues for Kerry Wednesday, May 12th , 2032 Lou Kerry ran his hitting streak to 20 straight games today at iField @ Berkshire Hathaway Park, when he collected 1 hit in 3 at-bats. The feat came, however, as the Cheyenne Regulators dropped the game, 4-0, to the Lloydminster Lunkers. "Hey, the streak is great -- I hope it never ends," Kerry said later. "But I'm not happy to lose the game." Lou Kerry singled in the 3rd, flied out in the 5th and flied out in the 8th. Thus far this season in 32 games Kerry is batting .289 with 3 home runs, 16 RBIs and 13 runs scored. He has 33 hits in 114 at-bats. |
