Prunty PCL Winner, Top Hurler in August Thursday, September 1st , 2005 August's premier pitcher was T.J. Prunty of Las Vegas 51s. He pulverized Pacific Coast League hitters all month long and picked up the Pitcher of the Month award. The 51s star hurler fashioned a 5-0 record en route to the honor. He had 32 strikeouts in 40 innings and compiled a 0.68 ERA. Other clubs hit .181 against him. So far this year, Prunty has compiled a 8-8 record with a 2.96 ERA. |
