Star of the Week Awarded in PCL Monday, August 22nd , 2005 This week Kevin Kouzmanoff, third baseman for the Memphis Redbirds, slashed, mashed and bashed his way to the Pacific Coast League Player of the Week trophy. Kouzmanoff put up a .409 average as he pounded out 9 hits, 5 home runs, 8 RBIs and scored 8 runs. On the year, Kouzmanoff has hit .294 with 35 home runs, 90 RBIs and scored 81 runs. |
