Roughriders Move on to Round 2 Saturday, September 13th , 2031 The Saskatchewan Roughriders have swept the Woodstock Wolves and are on to the Round 2. Saskatchewan won 7-3 today at DoubleHump Field to clinch the Round 1. "We're happy to have put the dagger in when we had the chance," said Saskatchewan right fielder Edmond Kelly, who was named MVP for the series. "It could have been a tough series to finish if we let them start winning." Kelly won the award with a .375 batting average and a .375 on-base percentage. He had 2 home runs, drove in 5 RBI and scored 3 runs. The Saskatchewan Roughriders will play against the Durham Bulls in the next round. Durham had a bye in the Round 1.
