Gonzáles Gets 5 Hits Thursday, September 4th , 2031 It was high-fives all around for Eugenio Gonzáles at Pete Rose Field today. He got them from his teammates and he got them at the plate during an outstanding hitting performance against the Louisville Sluggers. Gonzáles smashed 5 hits in 6 at-bats on his monster day, leading his club to a 16-2 win. "Eugenio was hitting everything," said Bulls manager Roberto Álvarez. "It really was a special game for him." In the opposing dugout, Sluggers manager Terrmel Sledge told BNN beat writers that Gonzáles "ambushed" the club. "Obviously we didn't have much success against him, but we'll have another chance," the skipper said. "Hopefully, Gonzáles oversleeps next time."
