Juicers Linnell Lost for Year Tuesday, September 2nd , 2031 The Newtown Juicers were dealt a severe blow when Darrell Linnell was hurt colliding with a player at a base recently in a game against the Houston Horror. After the game, the team trainer reported Linnell might have to spend a lengthy time on the injured list. Today doctors confirmed it, ruling the 18-year-old first baseman out for the rest of the season with a concussion. They indicated it would take Linnell at least 4 months to heal. Linnell is swinging at a .287 pace on the year with 14 home runs, 53 RBIs and 53 runs scored. He has played in 86 games. |
