Belugas Lose Gallegos for Season Monday, July 21st , 2031 The Mystic Belugas were dealt a severe blow when Pedro Gallegos was hurt throwing a pitch recently in a game against the Carmel Scoobys. After the game, the team trainer reported Gallegos might have to spend a lengthy time on the injured list. Today doctors confirmed it, ruling the 26-year-old starting pitcher out for the rest of the season with a torn back muscle. They indicated it would take Gallegos at least 4-5 months to heal. So far this year Gallegos has compiled a 5-5 record with a 3.87 ERA. |
