Reid Has Hot Hand, Bangs 5 hits Sunday, April 8th, 2018 It seemed that Beantown first baseman Chris Reid could do no wrong as the Ballers KO'd the Bats, 17-7 today. Reid rapped out 5 hits in 6 at-bats and seemed to know which pitches Bats hurlers were throwing. "I think the Ballers were stealing signs," growled one unhappy Brooklyn fan after the game. "I just felt good today. I saw the ball well and just wanted to make good contact and put the ball in play," said the jubilant Reid in the postgame press interview. Chris Reid singled in the 1st, singled in the 2nd, hit an RBI single in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, struck out in the 6th and singled in the 8th.
