Pensacola Blue Wahoos Ship Martínez to Pacifica Sunday, March 1st, 2020 Trade winds have been blowing through Pensacola. This time, a deal has materialized between the Blue Wahoos and Pantalones. According to sources inside the organization, Pensacola will ship 32-year-old minor league LF Jon Martínez to Pacifica for 35-year-old RHP Chad Billingsley and $400,000 in cash. In his career Martínez is batting .319 with 601 hits, 10 home runs, 334 runs scored and 214 RBIs. In his career Billingsley has crafted a 165-77 record with a 3.73 ERA in 2414.1 innings. Opposing clubs are batting .253 against him and he has rung up 1811 strikeouts. |
