Week's Top Player: Border City's Egberts Monday, August 27th , 2029 It can be difficult for a young player to step out of the shadows and assert himself in the Anderson League, but last week Kick Egberts of the Border City Buck$ reminded everyone just why he's here as he threw up numbers that made him an easy selection for Player of the Week. Egberts rocked opposing pitching for a .632 average (12-for-19), 2 home runs and 6 RBIs to come away with the award. This year Egberts is batting .253 with 18 home runs and 66 RBIs. |
