Predators Advance to The October Classic Saturday, October 20th, 2018 The dream of raising a championship banner in Nashville took a big step forward today. The Nashville Predators have won the League Championship Series, eliminating the Savannah Fighting Bananas to advance to the The October Classic. Nashville won the final game 8-3 and the series 4-1. Phil Gardner was named series MVP for a huge performance. He hit .300 with a .391 on-base percentage. He drove in 6 RBI, had 1 home runs and scored 4 runs.
