Postseason Bid Ends for Shelbyville Friday, September 25th, 2020 The Shelbyville Reds quite simply didn't have what it took this year. The club was formally eliminated from playoff qualification in 2020. "It feels bad," said Reds starting pitcher Dean Austin, when asked for his response by reporters. "Having your biggest hopes of the year dashed feels bad." Shelbyville last appeared in the postseason in 1994. This is their 26th consecutive year missing the playoffs, and in total they have not advanced past the regular season 35 times in their 38-year history. |
