Nied League Selects #1 Starter in June Tuesday, July 1st , 2031 This month when the Cooperstown manager wrote the name "Myers" on the lineup card, he was confident that he would get a good start out of him. Outing after outing in June Lee Myers took command and usually got the win. He dominated with a 4-0 mark and 3.03 ERA in 6 starts, piling up 38.2 innings and 17 strikeouts and holding opposing teams to a .264 average. For his superb performance Myers was named the Nied League Pitcher of the Month by the baseball writers. Over the season Myers has thrown 95 innings and dished out 58 strikeouts with a 11-0 mark and a 3.41 ERA. |
