$2,700,000 Lands RF Boone for Red Birds Tuesday, January 28th, 2020 The Toronto Red Birds have called a press conference later today to announce the signing of right fielder Buck Boone to a 4-year, $2,700,000 contract. Both Boone and the Red Birds are said to be very pleased to come to this agreement. Boone has a career .317 batting average and .361 on-base percentage. He has recorded 681 hits with 118 doubles, 16 triples, 77 homers, 281 RBIs and scored 368 runs since coming into the league. |
