Brand A's Get 8-5 Win Versus Austin
Miguel Randín impressed in the 8-5 Daniel win over Austin. Randín, who finished 3rd in the NL in doubles with 52 in 2027, was 3-4 with a triple and a double, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. Kevin Smith earned the win for Daniel. He lasted 6.1 innings, allowing 4 runs on 6 hits, while striking out 4. With the win, he raised his record to 10-11. Blair MacInroy locked down his 36th save.

With Daniel leading 2-1 in the bottom of the fourth, Randín hit a fastball from Donovan Straughan for a bases-clearing triple. It was his 6th triple of the season and put the Brand A's ahead, 5-1.
