The Austin BigStars turned back the Daniel Brand A's, 7-6, at VBL's Best Ballpark. Dong-hoon Hwang, in particular, had a fine performance. He was 4 for 6 with a home run, a double, and 2 singles. Hwang had a game-changing home run in the top of the 13th. On a first pitch curveball from Tom Charette, he banged a solo home run to right, giving the BigStars a 7-6 lead. It was the 31st home run of the year for Hwang.
