Larson Has Hot Hand, Bangs 5 hits
Bill Larson got the glory and the headlines today, but the Air Force Falcons left with the win. The USC first baseman easily handled the Falcons pitching, going 5-for-5, but his USC Trojans came out on the short end of the 6-4 score.

Larson told BNN reporters in the postgame interview he would happily trade "three or four" of his hits for a win.

"Heck, maybe even all of them," he said with a laugh. "Right now, it just seems like one loss in a long season but who knows what it could mean at the end."

Bill Larson singled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, hit an RBI single in the 4th, doubled in the 6th and singled in the 8th.

In his season totals, Larson has 23 home runs, .304 BA, .374 OBP, 69 RBIs and 58 runs scored. He has played in 125 games.
