Ed DeColigny really sizzled at the plate in today's 13-4 win over Golden Gophers. The Connecticut second baseman blistered Minnesota for 5 hits in 5 at-bats.

"DeColigny was too tough to get out today," the Golden Gophers skipper said in the postgame interview. "No matter what we threw him, he hit it. And he hit some good pitches, too."

Ed DeColigny tripled in the 2nd, doubled in the 3rd, hit an RBI single in the 4th, singled in the 6th, walked in the 7th and hit an RBI single in the 9th.
